Netflix has announced the return of the political drama, House of Cards for a third season. No announcements were made in relation to whether there would be any new actors joining the cast. After the second season is released, we can opine whether the show needs any additional characters.
Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright return on Feb 14th, 2014 on Netflix in the second season of House of Cards. At the end of the first season, Francis (Spacey) and Claire (Wright) Underwood continue their rise in the House of Cards while Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) is closing in on Francis Underwood’s crimes and manipulative games; possibly even figuring out his entire plan. Francis has other problems to deal with, President Walker’s (Michel Gill) billionaire confidante Raymond Tusk (Gerald McRaney) understands his end game and wants to use him to his advantage. Will we see any new players on the board? Does Francis have any aces up his sleeve that he can use? All thirteen episodes will be available on Netflix on the same day. That’s the best part of the shows released on Netflix: one weekend marathon and it’s all done. Then again, the wait for the whole wait for one entire year for the next season is like an endurance test.
