Avengers: Infinity War, 10 years in the making, and what do we get? Probably the most emphatic superhero experience that’s filled with excitement, and humor you’ve come to demand from an MCU movie!

From the minute the movie starts, its an onslaught of action, thrills, gags, and gasps, played out with a star studded cast of gigantic proportions, that it quiet literally raises the bar for Super hero extended universe movies! Let’s be honest here, 10 years, 18 movies – if you haven’t seen them all, you should, to truly embrace what Infinity War has to offer, but for those who did, you patience is well worth the wait and the experience is rewarding.

What I particularly liked about this movie, is that Thanos, the villain, gets the maximum screen time. While it’s balls to wall action from the word go, you’ll realize there’s no one set of heroes that gets excessive screen time, and because, over the past decade, they’ve built enough on their backstories, this tied in well beautifully.

As far as the heroes go, they’re mostly defined by their interactions with each other. Stark and Strange, Thor and the Guardians, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and then as the movie progresses we see more sub factions in Thor and Rocket Raccoon, Spidey tightening his bond with Stark, And finally, it was quite a thrill to return to Wakanda so quickly after Black Panther.

I think what worked out well at the end of it, was the unusual pairing of heroes while fighting Thanos, and trying to keep the Infinity Stones away from him. This gave plenty of room for pair ups, classic MCU superhero banter and humor, and fantastic action sequences. Full credit goes to the Russo brothers for being able to pull this off at this scale!

Sure there are minor glitches and issues, but none to really detract from the experience. With that said, I cannot wait for the 2nd part coming out in May 2019. But before that, Captain Marvel will be one to watch out for in the next movie as it releases so close to the 2nd part. Pretty sure, there will be a big tie in, in that movie.

If you’re going to wait for post credits, there is one, and don’t miss that…there is no mid-credits scene though, which I though was very fair.
