The trailer drops a few surprises. While the web-swinging, slinging, zip-lining and acrobatic combat doesn’t seem too far improved from any of the previous games, which can also be said for the game graphics, the game revisits one of the comic series’ most complex and interesting characters, Kraven the Hunter. While it’s unclear whether Kraven will turn to be a villain in the game, he seems to be helping Spidey in this trailer by guiding the wall-crawler on how to become an apex predator like himself. Also if you watch closely, a small easter-egg within the trailer hints at the possibility of another of Spiderman’s greatest foes – Venom! Kraven and Spidey teaming up to take Venom down, maybe. Now THAT, would certainly be something to look forward to 🙂
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 drops as a movie tie-in with the film release this spring, which should be around April/May on every console, including Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, as well as PC. Stay tuned for more news and updates on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game.
